I'll Stand By You   by C.R.M. Nilsson Darlene drinks far too much. In the aftermath of the divorce that’s torn her life apart, she turns to alcohol. At first Nick sits down with her and buys her drinks. They curse Justin’s name (he never liked him) and he offers to hunt him down. But the weeks pass. She makes no effort to get back on her feet. Alan’s and Nick’s living room’s in constant darkness because of her hangovers. Alan’s getting annoyed – Darlene’s Nick’s friend, not his. There’s an ultimatum. Nick pours the alcohol down the sink. He hopes this can get her back on her feet. Back
