She Loved to Watch the Sun Go Down

The second night, you took my hand and led me towards the beach. You babbled nervously about this amazing place down on the beach. I just had to smile at how cute you are when you’re nervous.

It turned out that the concierge had told you about this palm-tree, which was the perfect height for the two of us to sit in. We watched the sun go down over the ocean in silence. It was a beautiful spectacle in warm reds and yellows.

I leant in to kiss you. It mightn’t always be this perfect. But for now it was.
