10. This Is the Life – Amy MacDonald Darlene actually likes Nick. She doesn’t like people much these days since Justin changed, but Nick is a rather sweet man. Since coming out, he’s started lisping and wearing the designer clothes he denied himself previously. Disturbingly enough he looked rather a lot like Kurt Hummel from Glee (only, as an adult). He offers to hunt Justin down and kill him for her sake. More likely it would be his boyfriend doing the killing, but she appreciates the thought. He plies her with alcohol and lets her sleep on their couch since she can’t stand the thought of going to the place she called home just ten hours ago. She wakes up and her head feels twice the size. She wonders where she is going to sleep tonight. Because she is never going back to that house. |
